Having close connections with the music production company and studio ‘Mode Music Group’ became highly beneficial in bringing the song that I had written, to life.
During October half term, I spent a two days with them working on the song to create the final product.
DAY ONE:
Day one consisted of brainstorming different routes that the song could go down. The songs “Bridges” by Broods and “Wild” by Troye Sivan are two songs that I have found to inspire my songwriting and how I want the production of my song to sound

DAY ONE:
Day one consisted of brainstorming different routes that the song could go down. The songs “Bridges” by Broods and “Wild” by Troye Sivan are two songs that I have found to inspire my songwriting and how I want the production of my song to sound
After I had decided what I wanted the song to sound like, we started producing the base of the song
.
After adding more and more production, the song started to come to life. This video shows a taster of what the song sounded like when we first started placing the beats.
By the end of the session, most of the production was done, with only a few tweaks to add.
DAY TWO:
Day two consisted of laying down the vocals in the recording booth. This included harmonies and tracking as well.
After recording the vocals, we proceeded to finish the track by adding effects to the vocals and adding in a few more drums and synths. I am extremely happy with the result.
